I just bought a barn find Samurai. Been in a barn in the backyard of a hoarders house in Oklahoma since 1994. Mostly complete, but has been home to some critters.

I am hoping to get paperwork to get it registered and my daughters will be able to drive it to school in a couple years.

This will be a major project, but the price was right and we have time to get it ready.

What a great find!!

Looks like those Oklahoma critters were quite busy!

Oh, my. Not fun, the cleanup portion . . . .
but after that, it'll be a blast!!

Best of luck

Don

I had to evict a momma rat and two babies. The cleanup process has begun. Starting in the engine bay and will work our way back. I removed most of the debris and will take the vac in next.

Also mounted two nused tires on the back and have two more to mount tonight for the front. Recycled from my corolla. Little small, but they will work for rolling it.

Noticed that the kingpins are loose on the drivers side. Likely why it was parked.

When I cleaned my Suzuki I turned on the vents and watched as a snakeskin came out of the middle drivers side vent. It's always a fun surprise when cleaning these things.

slim jimmy. I grew up in Rock Valley.

Just an update. Vermont registration is looking positive. They sent me back my application with a couple things I needed to fill out. I sent it back again. Hopefully in a couple weeks I may have plates.

I filled my 30 gallon trash can 3 times or rat debris. It still needs more, but I plan to pull the seats out next and start cleaning up the wiring. Is there a for sale section here? It may be easier to get another wiring harness.
