Default High Altitude Compensator

Hi Everyone

I'm new to this group having just bought my first Samurai (an 87). I live in a small mountain town in Costa Rica (altitude about 5700 feet/1700 meters) and have discovered that my High Altitude Compensator (HAC) is not functioning so I am having serious power loss when driving. This part is called something else in Spanish so the local Suzuki dealer doesn't understand what I'm looking for. Anyone know the part number for this thing and if it is even still available? I tried the usual Google searches and only seem to be able to find used ones. Thanks in advance!

Part 43, I can't find a new one listed anywhere. Guess your going to have to settle for used . Welcome to the forum.

Thanks Darrell - looks like used it is. BTW, thanks for the link to the parts list. I'm sure that will come in handy :-)
