Default Should I Buy This Samurai?

I currently have a miata, but I canít fit my guitars or any fishing tackle in it. I also live on dirt and gravel roads, so a 4x4 would help a lot. My commute to school every morning is about 20 minutes of country highway with 55 and 65 speed limits. Is a Samurai too impractical for this? I found one that is very clean for $2500. Itís a 1987. Iíll try to post a picture.

to the forum!

It's difficult to comment when we don't know where you are or the condition of the vehicle.
Just looking at the picture, it looks clean.
Where I live if they were in that shape and mechanically sound they would be listed for $1500-$2000 more than that.

The towbar would indicate fewer miles/wear on the drivetrain which is also a good thing!

Gota have room for the guitars and fishing gear!

I'd probably go for it.

Thank you for the reply! The interior is pretty clean, the odometer shows 44k and it might only be 44 because it was towed and used for hunting. Apparently it was parked and not driven anymore. Iím going to sell my car and have my dad get the samurai and clean it up for me. Iíll be posting updates (:

I had the same thought.
I'd still buy it if it was in as nice a shape as it looks in pictures.

Of course, I did say I still needed a blue one.

yes we were thinking 144k, but the towbar could indicate lower miles. even at 144 its still nice
