Default 1990 EFI idle speed

Hi gang.
What should the approximate idle RPM's be for 1990 EFI Sammi if the outside air temp is + 45 degrees F ?
Mine seems idle awful fast (won't have the tach put in until next Friday). It does slow down when the engine temp goes up, but at dead cold start it seems way too fast.

If it is too fast, what can be done to slow it down ( dead cold RPM's ) ?

Darrell, I'm sure you can answer this one.

Idle speed when warm is 800rpm + - 50 and 1000rpm + - 50 with AC on. I can only assume when cold the ECU uses the idle speed control valve to increase the RPM until the water temperature increases. I don't know what the RPM should be on cold start up

Got the tach in and engine RPM is correct at all temps. I guess I thought it was running faster than it was.

Problem solved. Thanks to all.
