Default Power Brake Booster Question

Hi gang.
I'm looking at my power brake booster and I only see a "pipe" coming out where I normally see a booster check valve.
Is there a check valve some where else in the vacuum line ?
Is a check valve an internal part of the booster ?
Please advise. Thanks for your help

Doc.

Make, model year?

Check valves are typically at the booster (as a fitting) or immediately downstream in the interconnecting hose. So always employed somewhere.

I think the check valve is on the booster in the pic you sent. I got an in line check valve and added it between the booster and the vacuum line. Should be OK.

Thanks for your help
