Default Hard Top Seals

I have a hard top from rally tops and they charge about $90 for the the kit to reseal it to the frame. What I am trying to figure out is an alternative source for the materials. Has anyone reinstalled new seals that know a materials list?

This is the package they sell Tune-Up Kit for Suzuki Samurai 1-Piece Hardtop

Just trying to find something cheaper.

Is that material similar to what is used for camper shells?

And what material would you use for the new seals on a hard top?

yeah i will buy a stripe and cut my need. any seal stripe with different sizes would do the job.. and for the winter (wich is very near now) .. i'm gonna use "black wax" for holes. and that's it. hope this helps

Default Just bought this

I picked this up from Amazon.

It's EPDM foam seal with BT (3M) high strength tape.
So it should hold up well.

Ouch, price went up $10 bucks
Link

Proly still worth the admission price.

This looks like a great option, the kit that rally top sells goes for about $90 so this is great. Have you installed it yet? I'd like to see how it came out.

I haven't installed it yet but when I do I will be sure to snap a few.
I think it is pretty close to what is on there now, I'll get a before picture also.

Definitely a better price!
