Default Suzuki Samurai Seat position

Hello all. My '93 Samurai was stolen a month ago.
I am crazy enough to have bought another last week. This one is a 2003 model and I don't seem able to change the seat's back position to be more upright like I used to. My old one had a "wheel" thing you turned. This doesn't. Any ideas?

Hi, Aggela.

to the forum!!

Sorry to hear your car was stolen, it's a horrible feeling.
Someone ran off with our 62 Chevy II Nova 2 door one time, the only reason we got it back was the clutch disk wore out.

You didn't mention what your new ride is, some one will be along to yell at you for that shortly.

Do you have a handle on the left side of the drivers seat?
All of my cars and trucks do.

Best of luck.

Don

Apologies, I thought it was implied that it is again a Samurai. (2003)
There is a handle on the outer part of the seat, but it just brings the back of the seat down to access the rare of the car more easily. It doesn't stay in any other position than the original one.
