Default carb problems

hi members im new

i have 1985 SJ413, and im experiencing reliability problems with my carb, notably the automatic choke, can anyone advise a solution?

also there is a carb for sale on ebay, a webber, see link, would this be better?

suzuki sj webber carb on eBay, also, Suzuki, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 03-May-08 22:18:37 BST)

is fitting a matter of bolt off bolt on?

The the shafts butterfly valves may be worn and the carb may need rebuilding.

The weber shown is most likely 32 36 DGAV type. This will give a boost in street performance of about 10% in real terms. Off road however they are a bitch as they flood at high angles, ie going up a steep hill. fuel economy goes down the drain however. Still properly balanced they run like a dream. If it comes as pictured it will mate with the stock air breather which is good.

You will need an adapter plate as the bolt holes are different. They are readily available on line.

hi, a friend of mine has a jimny imported from japan as junk. it still runs but the turbo wont work. we dont know the model. mechanic says the module is defective. we dont even know what is a module!!! we estimate its 1985-88 model. how can we determine the model? hope you guys can help us. thanks
