Default all lights are comming up!

hi guys , i got a 05 suzuki jimny pretty standard exept some mud tyres.;last sunday we went to the local 4x4 track the devils pit and after a full day of fun all i remember happening to the old jimny is some times i caught the bottom in some ruts , passed through lots of muds sometimes up to the bonnet.


on the way home it started over heating, i went to the local power wash and cleaned the radiator. now after a week it still over heating the radio started comming on and off and now the abs lights came on!!!!!!!


im heart broken thinking the jimny could hadle a bit of mud but wuite unsure now.......HELP!!

Hi mate, dont let a bit of mud stop you.
I have an idea what the problem may be, but its just a guess as i cant see the car.
I have had a simular problem with another car the regulator can stop working and too muck current can go through the electrics and cause wierd undesired problems like lights and radios to turn on. it could have got damaged when getting wet. you can test the current with a cheap circut tester and the current should be around 13.something volts.
If not use the circut tester to test other curcuts.

Thanaks man sorted.....just the alternator wasn't powering up so i just power washed it and a bottle of wd40 straight in the alternator.......worked a treat
