Default 86 Samurai parts on a Jimny

Hello all, I'm originally from the US and live in Tokyo. I recently purchased an 86 Suzuki Jimny and love it. I want to bring this back to the US when I leave here and just had a few questions.

Can I use Samurai parts on my Jimny? I realize the engines are different, mine currently has a 3 cylinder turbo charged engine. But drive shafts, leaf springs, transfer case etc... can I just swap parts out with no problems?

This little truck is in amazing shape considering its 30 years old, but the drive shaft squeeks (Probably U-Joint) and the leaf springs are a tad rusty. I figured Id just buy new ones and throw them on due to how old the originals are. I just want to make sure the samurai ones will fit the Jimny. Getting parts for older vehicles here is hard, most Japanese don't have old cars due to this thing called JCI (Japanese compulsory insurance) that gets more and more expensive as the vehicle ages. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
