Default Samurai GTI 1.3 DOHC

Running a 1989 Swift GTI engine.
Bought the Sammy 2 yrs ago. Engine already installed but had
EFI issues. Thanks to reading this forum I found the valve cover needed
To be vented. Fixed my problems. Fun to drive.

Default gti motor...

One of the difficulties with this swap is that, because the GTI is designed to install in a FWD vehicle, the Samurai firewall must be modified to fit the distributor as is pictured above. There is a right-angle mount solution but it is a bit expensive...

Are you able to snap a photo of your alternator mounting area. I've had two different GM style alts but I have the sidekick engine.

It's a worthy upgrade!
