In your first photo it's the oil pressure sender unit. It screws in on the left side of the motor just in front of the oil filter. There should be a wire close by and it connects to the sender unit. The sender unit is what turns your oil warning light on and off when you turn the ignition on it should light up and once the engine starts the light should go out.

In your second photo it's the connector that fits into the back of your alternator. Don't run your engine with this connector not plugged in as you will do expensive damage to the alternator. Once plugged in this turns your alternator warning light on and off. The warning light should come on when you turn the ignition on and once the engine starts the light should go out.

Hope this helps you out.

Cheers
