Default Suzuki Jimny 1.3L Engine oil?

Hi ... i have this Suzuki Jimny 1.3L, don't know if it's JLX model, but i think its a 2003 model and the top model that year. Automatic transmission. The problem is ... i lost my manual. Just want to know what the Engine Oil specs used for my vehicle. Is it the 20W-40 or 20W-50? My friend says its indicated in the manual, but i lost mine. Please help.

Hello, where is your location? Engine oil choice largely depends on the weather of the country.

My manual states 10w-30 for Japan and cold countries. But for tropical climates, 10W-40 or 10W-50 is best.

BTW, 20W-50 is too thick. This oil will consume more gasoline.

Good day sir,

I have an Every Van 660cc & I also noted that my fuel consumption increased
when I used 20W-50. By the way, would you recommend 10W-40 or 10W-50
to my ride?

Thanks in advance.
