Default Which ECU to buy for 88 Sami with Tracker Swap?

This is a consolidation repost to an unresolved inquiry.

My 88 Samurai needs a replacement ECU. Looks like Mitsubishi originally manufactured the ECU which was at some point re-manufactured by Python: Imgur

Opening it up: Imgur

Circuit board# : JE331B604A
White chip# : E528A

Any ideas where to find the right replacement?

From the photo it looks like it is an ECU for an 8 valve 1.6. I can't tell from the photo, but has the ID tag on the BOTTOM side of the ECU case been removed? If so, do you know what year Tracker the donor vehicle was?

1.6 Tracker 8 valve engine ECU Numbers

1989 -1990 5 spd - 33920 60A32
1989 -1990 Auto - 33920 60A42

1991-1993 5 spd - 33920 56B30
1991-1993 Auto - 33920 56B40

1994-1995 5 spd - 33920 56B51
1994-1995 Auto - 33920 56B61

At a glance I'd say that's an 8v engine with what looks like a weber carb - are you sure an ECU is required?

Remove the air filter & take a few more pictures of what's underneath. let's see if we can identify it.
