Default Carby trouble

Hi, I have an 81 Suzuki Seirra SJ40v
I have done a lot of work on it and it is great othe than the carby
The problem is that it will idle perfectly but as soon as I touch the throttle it will die. I thought it was the diaphragms in the throttle so I replaced them I have also cleaned every jet I can find but still no luck
Has anyone had this problem or come across it before?
Any help would be much appreciated

Look down in the carb and see if you getting a strong stream of gas when you turn the cam...or somebody presses on the gas....conversely it could be the opposite it is getting too much gas....carbs it like black magic to me.

Oh by the way is it the original carb?
