Default 87 samuria no spark

so I went to go to the store the other night and made it 100 yards. it spudered and died. I check for spark and didn't have any. my coil has power to it but it was getting hot so I replaced it and still nothing. I checked to make sure I had a good ground to the distributor. I am thinking it might be the igniter but not sure were I can even find one they don't seem to exists in the parts store. any Ideas?
