Exclamation Chassis welding

I'm 17 and looking to buy a second hand Jimny, I have found a 1999 model but it needs some welding on the chassis. Has anybody got any experience with these problems and how to fix them?

Thanks

Whereabouts on the chassis? usually they go in the boot where the jack is and around the headlights.

Are you looking to do the work yourself?

I suggest enrolling in a Welding class at your local Tech School.

This is a good thread to review to get an idea of what all is involved when working on rusted vehicles...
