Default Warm air hose material?

I need to replace (or repair) the warm air hose on my 1987 Samurai. It's the hose that goes from the air cleaner inlet to the exhaust manifold. Part 6 on page 4-29 in the Factory Service Manual.

What is that hose material? Is there a generic one that I can get cheap to fabricate my own hose? The replacement part is expensive.

Alternatively, what would I use to patch a tear in the hose? What kind of tape would I use?

Thanks!

Hoses here. Just verify the size of yours.

1987 SUZUKI SAMURAI Pre-Heater Hose

You could probably pick it up at most Auto Parts stores too, from generic / bulk hose designed for this service, cut to length.

I'm guessing it is aluminum and paper, like the generic replacements.

Here is the one I bought with my review;
Amazon.com: Standard Motor Products Pre-Heater Hose: Automotive Amazon.com: Standard Motor Products Pre-Heater Hose: Automotive

On the Rockauto site, it's STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # DH28
