I bought a 1986 1.3 samurai when I get about 1/4 way into throttle it dies if run on down on throttle it does fine but that one spot it dies out. I have found out that it used to be fuel injected and the guy made a adapter plate and put a weber 2 barrel on it he told me that there was room to grind more out of adapter to get it a perfect match to the carb , and that that's what he thought was causing the dead spot . I'm thinking that a restriction like that my cause lose in power but not a dead spot. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.
