Little or no mods - you're pretty much limited to a Suzuki G13 from another Sierra.
Having said that - any of the G13 engines G13a, G13b, G13ba or G13bb will bolt to the bellhousing and can be made to work with some modifications - exactly which modifications will be determined by what vehicle the engine came out of.
A very popular engine swap for a Sierra is a G16, but that needs an adapter to bolt to the bell housing, as well as other modifications which again depend on what vehicle the engine came out of.
In a nutshell - if you place a little or no mod restriction on an engine swap - you restrict yourself to replacing the engine with one exactly the same as the one you took out - swapping in a different engine will require modifications, and the more you deviate from stock, the more modifications will be required.
