I've never run across a convertible half top for the Samurai, like the Trackers came with. Only the full soft top.
Next best solution is to go with the front canvas "sun top". Cheap and easy solution, for a sun shade with emergency rain protection.
The Samurai soft tops are surprisingly easy to take off and on. I've got mine down to removal time of three minutes and install in ten.
My FJ40 Toyota is a lot tougher, so, it only comes off once a year.
