I have heard of buick 3.5ltr V6's being installed in samurais, but i've not heard of a V8 it's probably just too heavy.

I doubt the drive train could handle the power. You'd be better off buying a V8 4X4 and swapping the bodies so that it had the apearance of a samurai. Same end, different approach.

There is someone in my club that has got a sami with a 350 in it, the thing is pretty much unstopable. I will see what info i can get for you.
