Default Not getting emails to comcast

I never did get the activation email, had to pm an excellent mod to get activated and I've sent myself a couple of pm's as well as the ones I got from that mod with instant email notification turned on and haven't gotten any emails from the site.

I've quadruple checked all my spam folders including on comcast website and it sure looks like they're never getting sent.

If ALL three of you are Comcast users, my guess is the problem lies on the Comcast end - if you have another email account try switching the address in your profile to that one and see what happens.

Personally - I have no problems with email - which indicates that the forum end is functional, it is however entirely possible that Comcast uses some form of SPAM filtering that is rejecting the messages - some ISPs use a "blacklist" that blocks ALL messages rather than attempting to filter them based on actual content.

Two out of the three of us don't have Comcast. There's something else going on.

If you are not receiving emails, can you please make sure that [email protected] and [email protected] are both in your safe senders list. Are no emails getting to you, or just the ones for password retrieval?

I haven't gotten any emails at all. Gonna add those email addresses as contacts now and see if that helps.

gonna wait for everyone to chime in. If we're all having this issue, then I'll fire up a ticket to get this sorted all at once.

Please remember to check your junk folder. Outlook has the tendency to move your emails to junk if they detect that you have not been opening the emails for a while (usually a week). I think gmail and other servers do the same thing.
