If you have better idea for forum ranking system, please feel free to post here.

I have to be honest. Labeling any one an expert just because he talks a lot is a bad idea....Boxcar...

It would depend on what he has to say, no?

It's all subjective anyway.

Have you a better system in mind?

How about reader response? IE: Has the opinion or advice been accurate and or helpful.
I have witnessed bad, or just plain dangerous advise given by long term users of many sites...
Don't want to seem like a antagonist here, but the question was asked....Boxcar...

How about a rating system by post liking. For example, if a user finds your post interesting or informative, they can vote 'Like' or 'Thanks' icon. Your ratings can show on your user profile on the left hand side of each post you make so members can see how helpful or informative poster you are rather than quantity....

The Zukiworld.com forum has that. Or had. I just tried to bring up their site but all I got just now was...

Not Found

The requested URL /forum/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Also, we already have a "Rate This Thread" system in place where we can vote accordingly for:

Excellent
Good
Average
Bad
Terrible
