Default Reno Valve cover help

I have the 2007 Reno 2.0L 4. It's the one with the PCV valve in the valve cover. I'm having trouble finding the seal that is in the valve cover and snaps around a down tube. I got all the gaskets for the valve cover but can't find this seal. It is a big around as a fifty cent piece. Was told at the dealer that I would have to buy the whole valve cover. But it is a removable seal. Hope I explained it right. thanks!

hi welcome to the forum! this has been a question for ever on this forum and around the net. the answer was always that its in the valve cover and you cant do anything to replace it. i looked around a little on line and did some reading and found out a few interesting things. mostly the answer "its in the valve cover"! lolol but i also found some other useful info i need to check out tomorrow ( i park in a public garage so the car isnt that close). now about the seal you have. ive never seen one so im not positive what it is. a pic might help. or post a link to the casket set you bought and i can look at that pic there if there is one. i also know that some of the valve cover gasket sets come with extra parts that arent needed.
also on my search i found that Suzuki Car Parts Catalog Online Store sells a replacement PCV valve? i looks a little more and found this
2004 2008 Suzuki Forenza PCV Purge Valve Genuine 18119 85Z00 | eBay
ill have to wait till tomorrow then i can check and see what this part actually is.
what you can do is make sure the valve cover is clean before reinstalling it and maybe check the pipe that runs down to the oil pan where the oil dipstick is. make sure thats clear. after its back together start the car and make sure that the hose that runs from the back of the valve cover to the intake is in good shape and not collapsing. if it is replace it. also check the other hose that runs from the valve cover to the throttle body and make sure that one is ok too. make sure its the one from the valve cover you check as the other hose on the throttle body caries antifreeze. sorry this wasnt so helpful. any other questions just ask!
