Unhappy Stuck in Park, Keep blowing fuses

Our 2007 Forenza is stuck in park. We replaced the brake light switch only to find out the that fuse for the break lights is blown. After a trip to the auto parts store we returned with fuses in hand and blew through all of them. Any advice would help. I am thinking we have some kind of short but I don't know how to find where or how to repair it.

hi. welcome to the forum!! ok so what you should do is check the wiring. heres a link to the online service manual it has wiring diagrams in it.
Daewoo Service Manual
is it just the brake light fuses blowing? make sure that your brake light bulbs are ok and the connections are all ok. one spot you might want to check is where the wire harness goes through the fender. sometimes the cover can get rubbed off and the wires ground out to the body. then youll have to check the relays and test or trace the wires till you find out where the problem is. im not the best at wiring issues so maybe someone else will chime in but that should give you a place to start.any more questions just ask. let us know what you find out it could help someone else down the road
