Default Help p0315

So we got my sister a 2005 Reno with 68k miles. Get it home and the check engine light pops on with a P0315 code. I changed out the crank position sensor and same results. I wiped the computer and it comes back on instantly. I checked the connector and all is good. I know it had a valve cover gasket issue i just addressed. 2 of the 4 plugs boots were oil soaked. new plugs, wires and coil pack en route. Anyone have any experience with this? The nearest suzuki dealership is over an hour away :-( first time suzuki guy here. I have no idea what else would cause a p0315 CEL on this car. $20 over paypal to the first person to get me a cleared (fixed) check engine light! I

I forsee a trip to the dealer, unfortunately.

You need either a cps TEC (crankshaft position sensor Tooth Error Correction) relearn procedure,

or an ECM replacement.
