Default spark plugs

went to get plugs yesterday for my wifes 07 forenza and was told that i should only use copper plugs and not iridium. what is the best plugs for this car?

oh and what should the gap realy be ive found a bunch of different answers ranging from .032 - .045.

As per the '08 owner's manual:

Spark plug type: FLR8LDCU (Bosch 7404)
Gap: 0.039 in (1.0 mm)

The equivalent plug (also cheaper in most cases) is the BKR5EK (NGK)

Use only factory spark plugs, I have seen many customers use different spark plugs because the guy @ the aftermarket parts counter told them its the "best" But all they cause is a misfire.
