Would a 2.5L fit into a forenza with possible new frame and insane amount of body work?

a 2.5 isn't much bigger than the 2.0...you could fit a 2.5 in without messing with the frame or body

IMO it isn't really worth it...why not the new Si motor? its got 200hp and isn't even boosted yet

You may be able to put a 3.0L engine in there. But your only problem is going to be the tranny as we can only take small trannys.

somebody has swapped an LSJ motor into an aveo and i don't think it was that bad. Ill find the article if i can.

I've heard of a Smart Car with a huge ass engine in it...

umm.. the cobalt SS LNF motors make 260 FWHP, thats substantially more than a 200hp SI!!!!.. IMO its REALLY worth it..
