Exclamation going to design and sell new reno parts

HI my name is mike new to the forums recently had my reno for a year now but was into suzuki every since i could walk i went to itt tech for automotive i learned tons and i know in performance wise and handling and what not but now ive been working top secret on some things for reno/forenza non stop all year every since i got it jumping from forum 2 forum learning and reading and as far as i know kinky is the only one makeing parts for us and i give him mad props for doing it awsome man keep helping us out but i think u need some competition lol i have been designing a strut bar and an adapotor bracket to convert the front strut tower from single to 3 bolts so u can use an off brand strut to use also but it has to be same long enough from strut to strut and has to clear the hood and throttle body but those wont be done till october also i have designed an exhaust system actually two of them a duel for looks and a single not ricer looking one also with a 3inch tip or u can custom order ur own tip and i can put it on but all tips can be relaced with others when ever u want cause each tips with be bolted on by a flange about half way out basically an axle back but a lil close to the tip so u dont have to spend a whole lot. i also have pillar pods that imold myself to fit factor pillar have 3 made so far in basic black and carbonfiber no mods required other then mounting it with screws or the factory brackets that i will also be making so it just sticks on the factory ones but i gtg for now ill keep in touch soon ill post pics also pics are of the rear one the long straite chrome one and the one with the bends is an idea of one im getting now not from that comompy from a import shop where i live is make a custum one with the same specs of that one all brackets will be made to fit no mods no drilling 65 for both plus shipping can get colors but will be more

well between kinky and gse just about any part youd be looking for is available. also no offence but i dont think trying to convert from one bolt to 3 even makes sense. your going to put unecissary stress on the top of the strut. mounting a brace on top of the strut where the dust cap is (im assuming thats your design) is a bad idea. it wont be abble to handle the beating either, theres no reinforcment on that piece and you would risk damage at the worst and a mild improvment at best. it wont be able to give the support and performance of one that needs to be drilled. also adding a plate to convert from 1 to 3 bolts just adds another week point to the strut brace. more parts, nuts, bolts means more movment/stress points wich mean a loss of performance. the best braces are the welded one piece design

that is true more parts more stress but all and all the tower strut does not to a noticable effect in handling if u want the best then go with front sway bar and such but my idea is well worth a shot here if kinky and the rest can get there shots in making parts then another person can have a well worth try in doing it so dont put someone down because of ideas thats why i posted here to see what people think and i know what most of u will say not worth it well i already have a guy who made a rear for me that bolts right up no mods and can get it in any color and chrome now i know the front will be a challenge since yes its a single cap and no i was going to put it under the whole shock cap not where the dust cap goes i already got the bar its self in purple orange and blue all i need is to design a nice solid bracket and if not the last option would be to make a bracket that has to be drilled and bolt on the towers itself so i dunno if a cant sell then then i have them to show all you it can be done by others plus i have tons of money no problem with me and know alot of import guys with shops and tools to help me on this so ill show u when the proccess is done

your a little touchy. im just poining out a few flaws in your design. you want to know what people think thats what i think. im not putting you down im trying to help you. i never once said anything bad about you. you say you went to itt automotive i would think you should know aready about most of the points i made. you are welcome to design and build all the parts you want, but if there not quality parts or risk damage to the car then whats the point to doing it at all. wasting your or other peoples money? yeah sway bars do more for handling but a good strut bar helps a ton and right now the best design is to bolt to the body. its just as good a design as bolting to the strut. most of the people on this forum are first time moders and just dangling a part in front of them that they want when they arent going to know a good part from a bad part is just wrong, leave questionable parts to ebay and cheap honda builders who want to save money.

ok but most people arent going to drill holes in there new car if they still paying for it i know i wouldent but i bought mine straite out sx4 and reno so for me yea i would do that but im only doing this to help out those we want a bolt on app that they can do easy by themshelfs and to get all technically and drilling holes and mess up that would suck and for one hard as hell to get parts for i know yea kinky guy makes them but his site always says sold out and yea i know we can message him and he can probly get them but not many people can afford his stuff cause it high quility so there its needs to be more pricey and that scares alot so someone needs to make a good part and sell it for a nice price and take a loss and not worrie about money and if u say the make strut where are they i nver seen or heard of i saw one on the sg styleing site but that again was a drill bolt on app but was a good price so i dunno plus down here on the east coast upper east alot of people have suzuki forenza and reno and wanna do stuff but dont got the money to spend top doller parts that havent been offically tested to the max till breaking point so who know they all can be ebayers but its cheap and looks nice so admit are cars are slow and cant compete so might as well make it look good lol

Stock wise our cars are slow, but once modded they can be quite fast.

Dumb move on only selling to people you know and not out of state. But that is your choice. And I don't know why you made a torque damper, when all you need to do is make better engine mounts and problem solved.

turboreno08390 - I am not trying to be rude here, but is english your first language? I am just asking because its somewhat hard to read your posts.

kinky has the parts on his site the site just isnt totally finished yet. and as far as not wanting to spend money for quality parts? thats rediculous, why would you ever want to put sub par parts on somthing like your car its dangerous for you and people on the road around you, i cant stress this enough. instead of spending money on parts that arent properly researched and designed, save that money and buy the proper parts. its safer and you wont have to spend money fixing things that might break due to bad equipment. it can save you money in the long run. quality parts are expensive for a reason. modifying a car isnt like skateboarding, its an expensive and potentaly dangerous sport. if you cant aford to do it right or dont have the know how, dont do it. would you want people coming after you for money to fix a shock mount that your strut bar broke, or even worse caused an accident? i sure wouldnt. if you want to make a car just "look good" get a paint job or body kit. dont mess with performance parts.
