Default I got rear ended :(

Today I went to go pick my friend up from school, there was allot of traffic because of school letting out, so I was sitting there at a stop in traffic for about 5 seconds when my friend says "dude there gunna hit you" I looked in the rear view and turned my wheel to the right as to not hit the guy infront of me. Then I got hit and went into the grass by some kid in a white pontiac bonnevile. I was instantly pissed and hopped out of the car ready to throw punches but my friend calmed me down...

It didnt cause much damage to my car paint chips and some of his paint on my car... His car on the other hand was a different story, radiotor all bent to hell and back.. Anyways insurance pay is 673.00 so its all good I guess, man stupid drivers piss me off.

What was the other driver doing that made it obvious enough for your friend to realize he was going to hit you? sounds like he was hauling ass and not slowing down at all for the light or whatever you were at.

Dang, I'm sorry. What is it with today? I got rear ended today as well. Had the guy so pissed off he started yelling at me and spitting in my face. In addition to hitting me from behind, he also kicked my car a couple of times and assaulted me. Gotta love it!

Our car seems to do pretty darn well in rear end accidents. I know there was a member here that got rear ended by a SUV with a baby in the back seat, and no one was injured and the damage was not that bad considering what hit them.

Yes, I've found this to be a pleasant surprise that it holds up so well.

Fortunately, minimal damage suffered. It's difficult for others to see, I think, but there is a puncture in the bumper from where the screw/whatnot hit from the guy's license plate. I'm OK, as well, so it's all good.
