Default Aftermarket Cruise Control

Hello everyone. I have a 06 Reno and I put a cruise system on it about 1.5 years ago. The cruise works great, but the car is starting to miss sometimes and its gas mileage has gone down. I was thinking about taking it in to get it checked out and was wondering if I need to take the cruise system off before I go. Does it void the warranty in any way? Thanks

My dealer had a local custom shop install the aftermarket cruise for me (as part of the sale of the car = required by me). Even said the cruise gets a separate warranty from the installer. It would be a legal issue if they installed it and voided the warranty.

My guess is that the cruise would need to be proven as part of the reason for failure of the warranty item/engine issue.

Remember nothing voids the warranty on any car unless it can be proven to be directly responsible for the failure/problem that it is being attended to... If the dealer gives you trouble contact Suzuki Directly and they will help you out...
