So I go to see the Forenza Wagon because I'm anxious to see how it looks with all of the options. (Not ready yet, but I wanted my better half to see it before driving up in the driveway with it. She was happy with what she saw, thankfully.
I meet the man working on it at the service counter and ask him if I can take a peek. He tells me to come out. I ask if I can take a couple of photos and mention that I am starting up a new Suzuki news blog site. He asks if I've been to Suzuki-Forums.com I say yes and say I'm "Ming" (btw, check this goodness out
, my screenname just made TV, LOL) ---- anyway he says he's SuzukiDon...!
We shake and a guy near the exit of the garage cooking barbeque offers me a fajita...good times. Very nice.
Small world, huh?
Here are the photos -- the inside is missing mats, door sill plates "Forenza" on them, the bumper cover hasn't come in yet, and the B-pillar trim isn't on yet, but otherwise it is done, even with the nose mask installed. Oh, forgot to check if the chrome tailpipe tip is on.
Looks great - security, tint, mudflaps, I love the rims. I have no idea how the Graphics Package got added to my list, I didn't explicitly order it, but it looks great (glad it wasn't some funky color, grey looks good). Its the same scheme, but less colorful as a SEMA Reno from a couple of years back if memory serves.
Very nice to have an enthusiast working on your car and not some new-hire guy who doesn't even like Suzuki or isn't paying close attention to his install. It looked like it came from the factory that way.
Anyway, very cool to meet another Suzuki-Forums member like that. The place was mega-busy, and I think I stole him away from his job for too long, but he was very cool and informative as you guys know from his tech related posts. Here are photos:
