Default p0705 p0700 Anyone or Everyone

I have a 2007 reno that had clumpy shifts and the dreaded p0700 and p0705..but the funny thing was that it only happen from time to time..It would go into limp mode then I won't turn off and back on and bam fixed again..I read forum upon forum where people kept switching the transmission range sensor and the problem arose. So I decide to switch the transmission control module for a newer one (2008) and haven't had a problem since..I had a similar experience with the Ecu a while back.just my two cents.
