Default Reno water leak

i have a 07 Reno that I keep having to put water in reservoir EVERYTIME I run an errand. This has been going on for a couple weeks. Well last week I went to crank and it would not turn over as it was freezing out. So I charged battery and gave it another try, this time I raised hood to feel reservoir and water could be heard pouring out on passenger side of vehicle. Have I done damage to vehicle or is it water pump.

hi, welcome to the forum! well loosing water is never good as the car can overheat and that can be trouble. never drive the car when its overheating. now, on the back of the engine on the passenger side there is a water hose that comes off and runs to, I think, the reservoir bottle. this hose likes to dry out and break. that could be your issue. the easiest thing to do is while you put water in have someone look ands see where its coming from. if your alone fill the tank then quickly move over and look for the water. theres two hoses that come off the back passenger side of the valve cover and I believe the water hose is a little under those two. take a look and let us know what you find out
