Default My 05 suzuki forenza hesitates when I drive it

My 2005 forenza has been having this issue; whenever I start my car and put it in drive, it hesitates then sometimes cuts off. I've been told that it could be because my valve gasket cover could be clogged. I was hoping maybe someone could help me out with this issue

When you put it in Drive, do the RPMs go very low to the point that it shuts off?
Does it do it at stop lights, especially with the A/C running?
If so, try the...

Idle Relearn Procedure:

Turn the ignition ON for 5 seconds.
Turn the ignition OFF for 5 seconds.
Turn the ignition ON for 5 seconds.
Start the engine in park/neutral.
Allow the engine to run until the engine coolant is above 185 F (85C ).
Turn the A/C ON for 10 seconds, if equipped.
Turn the A/C OFF for 10 seconds, if equipped.
If the vehicle is equipped with an automatic transaxle, apply the parking brake. While pressing the brake pedal, place the transaxle in D (drive).
Turn the A/C ON for 10 seconds, if equipped.
Turn the A/C OFF for 10 seconds, if equipped.
Turn the ignition OFF. The idle learn procedure is complete.
