Guys, is the attached picture the backing/reverse light switch?

if so i have a couple of questions that you might know the ans:

1. can i interchanged the connectors on top of it with the wires that goes with it? i notice that the connectors on top sits on a plastic mould that would turn in circle if you remove the assy. on the picture its obvious that i broke one of the male connectors.. Ooops!

2. If i remove this from the tranny can i use the opening to fill in tranny oil? so i dont have to crawl underneath.

Thanks in advance.
