Default F6A 6- & 12-valve differences

Does anyone know specifically the differences in the 6- and 12-valve engines? Is it only the head and ECU, or is it much more than that?

Not interchangeable is what my mec said, he tried, but too different. 6 valves are way gone.

Anyway, I can imagine the turbo is quite small. Does anyone know the size? I probably can fab something up myself once the rebuild is done.

Way gone as in no longer produced since 12 valve is the upgrade and the same as a turbo. The turbo is about a grapefruit size, and has water and oil connections, as well as air intake and exzost parts that are not on a 12 valve. The tranny has a cooler that is cooled by the turbo.
They are as different as can be.
Now, in US the old mussel cars had turbos that only had ram air I think, so maybe something like that.
I have a picture of mine after rebuild on old computer, will try to post later.

It would seem possible to add a small IHI RHB31 turbo to the F6A since it is already fuel injected. One could conceivably install a mid-mount turbo and add a scavenging pump for the oil cooling lines.
