Hi I remembered posting similar topic here. but i guess nobody dared to give it some attention. I have been somehow sticking my head out on this. most of the taxi drivers i came accross have their taxi running on LPG. they told me that there is a slight difference with performance during the first few blocks of driving but on long distance straight drive you wouldnt notice the difference. price for installation is from 25 to 30K (and getting lower). LPG i think is P25/L now here in the Phils. There was one taxi who told me that a shop in 15th ave are installing such for 15k but the tank they use is the actual LPG tank we use at home.

I never heard of someone who has a van like ours running his on LPG. If someone would give me the money ill be willing to volunteer mine

sir, i am here in cebu and only noticed a few suzuki pick up converted and i think their growing, their fuel tanks are placed on top of the roof. i have not heard/saw of a suzuki van converted maybe because their fuel tanks can be hidden behind their back seats. another thing i have noticed is that i rarely seen LPG refueling stations for vehicles. maybe if there are a lot of LPG refueling stations, then i might be on the way of having my van converted specially LPG @ 25.00 /lt is much cheaper than gasoline..

thanks for your comment sir...

i hope i will be able to see one at least.......

hi people... i'm also from cebu and yes, there are several carry pickup's that were converted into LPG. AFAIK, converting to LPG is safe. They said it has its own safety device. I saw 2 LPG refilling station, one in Salvador st, in Labanong(since its near home). and the other is on F. Cabahug in Panagdait(since its near work) =)
