Default Has anyone experienced this?

For about three weeks, my Scrum MV, Zukzuk, sputters and stalls when driving in rainy and wet conditions. There's no problem when the weather is sunny and the roads dry. what could be the cauyse/causes?

I would like to hear inputs before I go to the mechanic, iba na kasi yung may prior information na tayo.

Thanks mga bro for any input.

By the way, Zukzuk's engine is naturally aspirated, non-EFI, 12-valve 3-cylinder F6A mounted in the rear.

I haven't experienced this but i think you could check if any of your ignition compenents are getting wet from the spary of the tires.

Poor wet run conditions are often caused by faulty spark plug wires. On a dry day, take a spray bottle and lightly spray the wires with a water mist. Most often, if this is the cause, it will not run, or will run poorly when it starts.

just like what mang caloy had said, you will need to check you ignition system, specifically the distributor. some F6A's are still using the old "contact point" system, so if its not a CDI distributor, its prone to fail on wet season.
