Default Engine wash?

Good day guys.
I am planning to have my zuk's engine cleaned.
Is it safe to directly spray water? What are the pros and cons?
Any help and suggestions are appreciated.
Pix of my zuk below. Tia.

I certainly would NOT. Too large a risk of water intrusion into the electronics / fried components.

I learned the hard way.

Spray bottle of cleaner onto wet rags OK.

Low pressure (garden hose) is fine, pressure washers are a No-no.

Default Engine Washing

Hi Potski, Nothing to worries regarding cleaning the engine with pressure washer, Honestly, I done it with all my rides all the time. For Suzuki van rear engine type, the electrical control boxes was not in the engine bay itself and components like CDI and vacuum valves are IP-64 means it has protection on water spray in all direction. Just sprayed it once a month and you be fine.
