Unhappy Is ALTO 2000 model having Cambelt or Chain ?

Hi guys, anyone know if the 2000 model suzuki ALTO have a cambelt or a timing chain. Please help.

You might get more informative answers if you provide more details - like what engine the 2000 Alto has, along with where you're located, or what market the Alto was made for.

Different markets had different engines - I've seen 3 cyl. 600cc; 3 cyl. 800cc; 4 cyl. 1000cc

Its a 1000 cc engine

According to my research the Alto year 2000 (1L) is either the G10b 8 valve or the G10bb 16 valve engine, both are belt driven. If you private message me your VIN number I should be able confirm which engine you have.
