Default Setting up new stereo - microphone wiring

Hello guys !

Just a quick one. I have a suzuki alto from 2010 in the UK. The stereo broke recently so I aim to replace it and have ordered these two parts:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/JVC-KD-R852...+jvc+bluetooth

CT24SZ09 Suzuki Alto 2009 - 2014 Car Stereo Radio Fascia ISO Aerial Fitting Kit | eBay

I notice that the stereo comes with a microphone that connects into the back of the stereo and can be used for hands free. When it arrives I would like to attach the mic to the dash above the steering wheel.

My question is how do I attach a cable from the back of the stereo to the top of the steering wheel on a suzuki alto. Is there an easy way to thread this cable around? Is it even possible? How do I do it? Do I need dismantle everything to do it ? Any help would be really appreciated; I am still new to cars!

Had a quick look on google and it seems common to place it on the window pillar (any car).
I would think it's also easier to install there. Hopefully you could tuck the cable behind without even removing the pillar trim.

Welcome to the forum.
