Default 2003 Alto Temperature Gauge

Hi,
The temperature gauge on my Alto is not working, its permanantly on cold.
Ive replaced the thermostat and the temp sensor, have checked the gauge itself works and have checked fuses are OK.
Can anybody advise me what to look at next.
Thanks

Hi!
I also had that problem and assumed as the gauge only moved about 5mm it was the temp sensor so replaced it, then replaced the gauge itself still no joy!. Finally I replaced the thermostat and it solved the problem. As you may know you can check the gauge by bridging the wires on the block of the temp sensor, but as you have checked or replaced all the above have you checked for an airlock?
