Default Alternate tyre size - Alto 2013

Hello everyone,

About two years back, Suzuki introduced the Alto model into my country - a certain South East Asian which will remain nameless, to complement the highly popular Swift.

Late last year, I bought the Alto after falling in love with the car at first sight. Its sleek lines, blue colour are simply amazing.

Last week, I discovered a bubble on the sidewall of my rear left wheel.

Long story short - 155/65R14 tyres are quite rare here (try non-existant).

I am going to switch that bubbled tyre with the spare and use that as spare for the moment. I am thinking long term and switch the tyres with a different size altogether once the treads are used up.

The tyre shop recommends 165/55R14

Can mod-experts here comment what tyre size have been successfully mated with the Suzuki Alto 2013 ?

Appreciate all assistance

Default some thing that might help

I was thinking of putting 14's on my 06 alto but decided against it when i checked out this web page.

Tyre Size Calculator - Calculate Tyre Size - etyres

go to near the bottom of the page where it says

"current tyre size" in the grey box
fill out what you have.
then fill out what you want and it will let you know if the sizes of wheel and tyre together will suit, with out putting your speed off too much
