  1. Suzuki Alto 2010 alternator replacement

    Suzuki Alto Forum
rear mount is attached to sub frame I think, I'd have to climb under one to be sure, you will need to support the engine and remove the bolt on that side, that should give you enough room to get the alternator in.
  2. Suzuki Alto 2010 alternator replacement

    Suzuki Alto Forum
yep, hoist and subframe off and an engine support stand, you can try a trolley jack with a bit of wood to support the engine and let the sub frame go on that side to get it in
  3. I broke the cover of left tail lamp..can i replace it and how much cost?

    Interiors & Exteriors
what year, what model? where in the world are you? usually the whole assembly has to be replaced.
  4. Suzuki Alto GL 04 Fuel Flap won't open

    Suzuki Alto Forum
if its broken the cable, then theres no option but to gently use something to get the catch to release on the flap then investigate the cause. I have a strip of stiff plastic i use, but you may need to use something else. thankfully the fuel flap is thin metal and the catch part will bend but...
  5. Do I have to replace the Engine if My 1997 Sidekick SPORTS Model's Timing Chain is broken?

    Sidekick/Escudo/Vitara/ Geo/X-90 &Tracker(’89-’98)
changing to a 2.3 block and using the 1.8 manifolds and sensors would work. Should pass emissions as well. ECU will alter mix and control emissions based on sensor readings so if you use the same manifolds and so forth and just use the 2.3 injector rail and injectors (slightly bigger and higher...

  7. Swift M15A ecu pinout ?

Suzuki Swift and Geo Metro Forum
what are you hoping to achieve with a piggyback tuner? These engines won't develop much more hp than they do now without extensive head and inlet mods and frying the cat is a distinct possibility.

yeah, its knowing which forum you need to search in that can be an issue as well. its just annoying knowing you have seen it on the site somewhere but what forum of many was it in? The search seems to be hit and miss, generic search terms search all forums, but some only seem to search the one...
  10. 2000 Suzuki Vitara rear suspension too stiff

    2G (1999-2005) Vitara & Grand Vitara
I know what you mean. Different years, different subtle changes in suspension, tyres etc, all have a bearing. I have a newer 3G model, and that also rides "hard" on some roads. These vehicles, they are all a compromise in the suspension department, stiff enough to use off and soft enough on...

    3G (2006-2014) Vitara & Grand Vitara
ahh, yep, thats the factory fitted Suzuki mat retainer. Don't know if anythings available aftermarket, but you could give Hollands a call during the week and see how much a genuine one is. Then once you have recovered from the price shock, start looking for alternatives. My mats won't fit the...
  12. Front plate frame holder

Suzuki Jimny, Sierra & Samurai Forum
yep, I'm also suspicious, those 2 bumps on the top section in the cavities on the outer edges could hold captive nuts with bolts up from inside the bumper, wouldn't be the first time they have played tricks like that on a new model.

  16. Radiator cap 1.1 or 0.9??

    Sidekick/Escudo/Vitara/ Geo/X-90 &Tracker(’89-’98)
ok, sport uses a 1.1 bar, thats a 15 psi. Running a 1.8 (0.9 bar) would not be advisable
  17. Front plate frame holder

Suzuki Jimny, Sierra & Samurai Forum
looks like there one big rivet in the centre, or is it a rivnut? Wouldn't surprise me if Suzuki riveted it on they have built these things so bits don't fall off. Quite possibly a couple of bolts up from inside the bumper as well.

a little plastic thing shop? try a carpet place. I have seen some plastic teeth that you can attach to mats with a couple of stitches that grip the underlying carpet but have never tried them. I have no idea what items you actually mean. I have had rubber mats in mine that ride forward, twist...
  19. Fuel to carb won’t start

Suzuki Jimny, Sierra & Samurai Forum
Darrell, my thoughts would be be looking at he fuel shut off solenoid for operation, or dirt under its needle. That should get power at key on in ign position? I don't have a diagram handy but that would certainly account for the original posters issues, no fuel getting into float bowl. ...

    3G (2006-2014) Vitara & Grand Vitara
most of the ATF's out there including 3309 are "synthetics". In fact apart from Dextron III or MERCON spec (both for older vehicles), you won't find a "pure" mineral transmission fluid. All the "modern (as in, post 1980's) oils are "synthetic" as in, they contain friction modifiers, and other...
