Default power window switch

still have not solved the problem. The board is loose on the end of the door lock, but will not budge on the side of the window lock.

It's upside down, right? Is that the door mounted master window button assembly?

If so, I haven't had one apart but I think Fordem has.

If it's what I think it is, the whole unit can be had used for proly $50 ish off e-Bay or your local bone yard.

I have had that apart, and as far as I recall it just clips together - the white plastic cover comes off and there are latches that hold the PCB into the outer shell - it's actually more difficult to reassemble than it is to take apart (you will be left with two flat white pieces that you dont know where to put back, because you never removed them, they just fell out - they fit over the switches for the power lock)

Unfortunately I can't offer much more than that - I'm about 3500 miles or so away from the car so I can't refresh my memory.

Thanks guys, that is what I needed to know. I figured it was just a a couple of plastic latches, however I did not want to force it without knowing for sure. I did find a new OEM switch Assembly last night, for $57.00 (free shipping). So I will get this apart, see if I can fix it, if not just buy a new one. I just did not want to break anything, and then find out that I did not follow the steps, and it was repairable, been there many times. Any hoo thanks, I will let you know this afternoon the result, I'll make some mental notes and take photos, maybe someone will come across our thread and see the solution. Again thanks!!

May I second this request, 2 years later. I bought a master window switch to replace my broken one, and I could use the manual page which shows how the driver side door comes apart to install it.
