Hey man, I don't think Boshart is going to be much help. I waited over a year for the "turbo" to come availible and they have not come thru. I just purchased a GT28R GARRETT turbo, manifold, intercooler, fuel rail sys, Greddy RS BOV, 3" exhaust and had a fully custom installation and tuning performed by LHT Performance. In addition, LHT polished the exhaust, intake, intercooler and all connecting pipes. Dyno run recorded 178 hp to the wheels and 179 lbs of TQ at only 5 lbs of boost. The reno will push 220 whp at 10 lbs of boost. Stock, the Suzuki Reno puts down 105 whp, so the gain is almost 75 percent. You can check out my pics and info on cardomain.com, (user name is 232337912) and get an idea from that. I can also get you in contact with John from LHT Performance and he can answer any questions you may have.

Wow, I checked out your pics in cardomain...looks good. How much $$$ did you end up spending on the custom job all together (parts, labor, etc)? Have you got any 0-60 times yet or anything. Oh and keep us updated on how your engines internals hold up.

BMS never said they'd come out with a turbo kit so I don't know what all you guys are waiting for. All they said is that they were turbocharging the reno and that happened around a year ago and is already off the car.

What are you plans for the reno? Like what psi or whp #s? I ask because that turbo is extream overkill for 5lbs. Whats the rest of the stats for the turbo?

Do you have dyno graphs of before and after including afr, tempature of each day, and whats the elevation? 105whp is really high stock.

What exactly have you done to the fuel system? injectors? fuel pump? if so what?

Have you upgraded the clutch or pressure plate? Lightweight flywheel?

Any other mods? What are you using for tunning?

I'm looking forward to hearing more about your setup. I'm hoping to have my turbo up and running 5-6 psi by the end of the month (will for sure by end of Jan) and a couple months after that setting up seperate tune for at least 250whp on 110leaded...or what I'd rather do is lower the compression and make 250whp on 91 octane. Either way that tune will be kept for the track only.

Danny

Actually I emailed them like 2 months ago and they said they were coming out with a kit in the future. They also they have a prototype but the way they have it it would cost too much. They want a way to bring the price down. Now this was 2 months ago so who knows what the deal is. I'm not telling a lie though about what I just said.

I just have to send them alot of info on the car but it will be set up to run stock at 7 psi. The only other thing is the cost not sure how much, he told me 2.5-3k so don't hold me to it.... O yea hope to have a totaled out 05 Reno soon. You may ask y, hmmmm SPT Reno bad ass drag car is it hehehehe.......

Sorry about the lag time. I haven't been online in a few weeks. Just going to answer a few questions asked earlier. The parts, installation, and tuning ran me $9630.00. I have not had a chance to hit the track yet, but am expecting low to mid 13's just based on stop light to stop light driving. Seems to have decent pull thru all gears. Hate to run on only 5 lbs, but until I can find a fuel management sys that works.... I've got to live with it. Don't know, I post the slips when I get up to the track. Until then....
