Anyone got a mini cooper? They look like a lot of fun but I see many reviews that they are POS's, particularly the automatic transmissions cost more to replace than the used value of the car itself. My friend said if I were to get one it should be the supercharged manual transmission.

I have always loved that little car.
I've always wanted one.
Well, my daughter beat me to it, a white convertible.
She loves it, it's her baby and has held up well for several years.

Yeah, supercharged manual transmission!!
Why the heck not!!

She got the only one that did. Overall they have a horrible repair record. Just saw a quote to replace a turbo at $6k.

the old 1960's ones were great, the new BMW based ones are shite, same wheelbase as a landrover sport, and just as ugly and useless. Mini's are supposed to be small (like duhh, thats why the name) get a real one, not the new fake news one
