caseyjones955 The early Samurais have the same piece, The dealer was no help but Mikodaindustries has one on the cheap, that guy never stops being awesome.

Problem solved, thanks for the info.

zooki4x4 On my '94 there is a rubber seal plug that goes around the filler tube and floor board that seals it. Like a large version of a firewall plug.

Fuel filler hose seal?

I'm putting an OEM fuel tank back in my Samurai, DSPO removed it to put a 10gal fuel cell behind the back seat. I'm keeping the fuel cell but putting a proper fuel tank back in as well (will use the fuel cell as extra, will be simply plumbed to the main tank via petcock for simplicity). Problem is I cant see how it seals where the filler hose rises up through the floor at the right rear.

Is there a bushing or rubber seal or something that closes that rather massive gap in the floor around the filler hose. I already have the metal shroud that joins to the right rear fender to cover it from the inside but what else is there?
